MyClassTime Alerts (SMS)

Effective date: September 23, 2026

This page documents the MyClassTime Alerts SMS program: who sends the messages, what they say, and the exact opt-in language a student or parent sees before agreeing to receive texts.

The Program

MyClassTime Alerts is operated by Dgamaz LLC through MyClassTime (www.myclasstime.com), a class scheduling and billing service for independent sports coaches. Messages are sent on behalf of the student’s coach. The program is transactional only. We do not send marketing messages through MyClassTime Alerts.

Consent covers these account notifications only. MyClassTime does not send marketing or promotional texts, so there is no marketing opt-in.

Messages You May Receive

  • Class reminders for booked classes.
  • Waitlist openings: a text when a spot opens in a class you are waitlisted for. Reply YES or use the link to confirm.
  • Class cancellations or schedule changes, including makeup class notices.
  • Tuition payment reminders.

How You Opt In

There are two ways a student ends up in MyClassTime Alerts.

1. Online signup

When a student signs up on their coach’s MyClassTime signup page (example: www.myclasstime.com/c/demo/signup), the form shows an unchecked checkbox below the optional Phone field. The exact label reads:

“Text me account notifications about my classes from [coach name] via MyClassTime: reminders for classes I booked, waitlist openings, schedule changes and payment due dates. No marketing messages. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Consent is not a condition of signing up. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.”

Texts are only sent if the student enters a phone number and checks this box. Consent is never a condition of signing up.

2. Added by their coach

When a coach adds a student in person (Students > Add student in the coach dashboard, shown in the public demo at www.myclasstime.com/demo/coach), the coach first asks the student or parent whether they agree to receive class account notifications by text from MyClassTime. The coach tells them there are no marketing messages, that message and data rates may apply, and that they can reply STOP to opt out at any time. Only if the student or parent agrees does the coach check the box in the Add Student form. The exact label reads:

“Student (or parent) agreed to receive class account notifications by text from MyClassTime. No marketing messages. Msg & data rates may apply. They can reply STOP to opt out.”

MyClassTime records the date and method of consent for every student. Students without recorded consent never receive text messages.

Frequency and Cost

Message frequency varies based on the student’s bookings, cancellations, waitlist activity, and payment schedule. Message and data rates may apply.
